Nellamo is a Nordic artist who conjures her creations in the heart of Finland. The art of Nellamo draws inspiration from Nordic nature and seeps stories of the Arctic myths and folk beliefs.

The artist is an avid fan of fantasy, nature and everything beautiful, and in her artworks, you can notice the influence of these topics. Nordic folklore acts as an endlessly intriguing topic for the artist, as well as the expressive animals of the wild. Nellamo uses various techniques in her work, such as gouache, and colored inks, and she also draws digitally.

Nordic folktales have fascinated Nellamo with its intricate threads of myth, mystery, and wonder. Every creature, every tale, holds a piece of the past, whispering lessons that transcend time. This is the inspiration that fuels Nellamo's artistic fire - a burning desire to convey these stories in visual form and ignite the same passion towards them in others.

Nellamo's products include art prints, vinyl stickers, accessories and zines: 'Pohjoisen Omituisia Olentoja' (FIN) featuring magical characters from Nordic folk beliefs and 'Vetten Väkeä' (FIN) which tells about water spirits of ancient beliefs including the crowned fairy fish, mermaids and the mystical frogs - to name a few.
